Weekend Worker | Hot Pink Shift Dress, Baby Blue Brogues & Pearls Of Course // OOTD

Afternoon Peaches. It’s been a mixed bag of a weekend with torrential rain and a thousand things to do then blazing sunshine and some new stock. I always try and pack as much as I can into my weekends and this one was no different. For this busy day – I picked this new (to me) hot pink shift dress originally from New Look. I found this pre-loved from Depop for a grand total of £3.50. It has a lovely sheen to it and although these shots were taken in the 10 minutes that the sun decided to show, the images have not been edited and it really is this bright a pink!

I matched this bargain shift dress with a vintage crop denim jacket that I sourced from Camden a few years back. There is no brand label in it, it has a tailored fit and three quarter length sleeves. I wear this a lot in the summer months mainly because I can screw it up and pop it in my bag but it’s also handy when it gets cooler in the evenings.

I am absolutely in love with a hot pink and blue combination at the moment and finished it off with my favourite classic pearl brooch – of course.

These baby blue brogues are actually from the children’s section – 915 New Look. Pastel coloured shoes are one of my many muses and even though these are possibly only supposed to be worn by children aged nine to fifteen, they fit into my wardrobe colour scheme perfectly. Admittedly, they need a bit more “breaking in” as I have only worn them a handful of times so far. I have worn these with white sheer pop socks today – a staple in my wardrobe and a life saver when I am on my feet a lot.

Very cute! The shape of this dress is fantastic on you, and I love the vivid pink color. The way you styled it is really fun and youthful and perfectly 60s.

Hi Jessica! Thank you so much! It really is as pink as the pictures. One thing’s for sure – you won’t lose me in a crowd! 🙂
